- working to rehabilitate and integrate individuals and families back into the community,
- supporting individuals and their families in to finding accommodation,
- providing starter packs to help local homeless people set up and move into permanent/temporary accommodation
Message from OLDER PERSON'S CHAPLAIN Hello, my name is Fay. I have recently taken up the post of Older Person's Chaplain and will be doing home visits to the housebound, bereaved and sick elderly people living within the parishes of the five churches in this United Benefice. I am working two days each week. If you know of anyone who is alone, housebound or sick and would welcome a home visit then please contact the Church Office. |

Noise Factory: our next service is 10.30am on Sunday 26 September at St Martin's Church Osmaston Midweek Wednesdays at 12 noon - join us for a short service of Holy Communion recommencing on Wed 1 September at St Michael's Church Shirley. Other Pram Service 2pm on Tuesdays at All Saint's Brailsford. Click here for our Pram Service rota. Ladies Bible Study Group: meetings are held 10.45am on second Wednesday of the month. Mary writes "I have made a survey of Brailsford Churchyard since January 1st to record all plants as they come into flower. This has included the Wild Flowers, the Grasses and Rushes, the Trees, and Ferns. To date, this now totals 121 different natural plants in the churchyard, which includes; Wild Flowers 98, Trees 9, Grasses and Rushes 12 and Ferns 2." The current list can be downloaded here. |

A Sunday Kids Club for primary school age children (a creche is also available) that meets at the Coronation Hall in Omaston. Craft, singing, stories, games and more on the 4th sunday of each month with registration at 10.20am. Parents are welcome to stay during the club or can take the opportunity to attend a relaxed, peaceful service in the church. Details of dates for the next two months can be found on the links above under Services section. Further details are available from the Church Office. |
